I usually work very hard to get good quality animal photos but this shot was just plain luck. My little girl was playing with a ball and Mifti was watching her when suddenly Lois threw the ball in Mifti's dirrection and she was like "oh, here, I got it for you". She jumped so high! Everything happened so fast and I had my macro lens on but I think it was the best thing, it came out incredibly sharp.

I adjusted the light and added a soft vintage filter. Mifti is a Turkish Van and she has a blue eye and a yellow-green one. She is also deaf in her right ear.


Thank you soooooo much for the faves and comments on my other Mifti photos. She is the star of the house now. She gets everything she wants from us. Everyone spoil her with yummy treats and, as you can see, she got fat. My mom even let her sleep on her shoes.
